What is Sprout + Play?
Sprout + Play is a safe, engaging indoor playground in North Wilkesboro designed for children ages 0–8, with spaces that encourage imagination, movement, and play—while giving parents a comfortable place to relax.
What ages can play at the playground?
Our playground is designed for children 8 years old and younger. We offer separate play zones for toddlers (ages 0–2) and older children (ages 2–8).
Do adults need to supervise their children?
Yes. Active adult supervision is required at all times. Caregivers must remain on-site while children are playing.
Can adults or older siblings go on the play structure?
Adults and siblings 9 years and older may enter the play structure only to supervise or assist younger children.
Play Sessions & Reservations
Do I need to book in advance?
No. We currently offer open play and will accept all walk-ins until we reach capacity. If you wish to host a birthday party, please visit our Parties page for more information.
How long is a play session?
Each ticket includes 2 hours of playtime.
Playground Features
What play features are included?
Our indoor playground includes a wide variety of climbing, balancing, sliding, and sensory elements, including:
Lookout Globe, V‑Net Bridge, Crawl Tube, Stepping Stones, Log Swing, Rainbow Bridge, Spiral Tube Slide, Ball Pit, and Seated Zipline.
Is there a space just for toddlers?
Yes. Our Toddler “Tot” Area is a low-traffic, enclosed space designed specifically for children ages 0–2, with soft, scaled-down play features.
Safety, Health & Cleanliness
How is the playground cleaned?
The playground is cleaned and sanitized daily, with additional cleaning throughout the day to maintain a safe environment.
Are socks required?
Yes. Socks are required for all children. If needed, socks may be purchased at the front desk for $3.
What if my child is not potty trained?
Children who are not fully potty trained must wear a pull-up or diaper while playing.
What is your sick child policy?
For the safety of all guests, children who are sick or showing signs of illness may not play. Families may be asked to leave without a refund if a child becomes ill during their visit.
Food & Drinks
Can we bring outside food or drinks?
Outside food and drinks are not permitted during regular play sessions. Outside food is allowed for birthday parties.
Hours & Pricing
What days are you open?
The playground is open Wednesday through Sunday and closed Monday and Tuesday for cleaning and maintenance.
Do hours ever change?
Yes. Hours may change due to private events or facility rentals. Please check our social media pages or call ahead for the most up-to-date hours.
How much does it cost to play?
Tickets are purchased per child, with age-based pricing and sibling discounts available. Children 11 months and younger play free with a paid sibling.
Are adults free?
Yes. Two adults per family are included at no charge. Additional adults are $5 each.
Birthday Parties & Private Events
Do you offer birthday parties?
Yes! We offer multiple birthday party packages, including private rooms and full-facility rentals. For more information, please visit our Parties page.
Can I bring my own food for a party?
Yes. Outside food and drinks are welcome for all birthday party packages.
Is a deposit required to book a party?
Yes. A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to secure your party booking.
Can I reschedule my party?
Parties may be rescheduled at least two weeks in advance, subject to availability. Deposits are non-refundable and cannot be credited.
Will other parties or play sessions be happening during my party?
Unless you book a full facility private party, other play sessions or parties may be taking place during your scheduled time.
If I don’t book a room, can I still host my party onsite?
No. Out of respect for the facility and other guests, any attempt to host a birthday party or similar gathering without a reservation or during prohibited hours may result in immediate removal from the premises without a refund.
